Just a bit of tweaking I did with the lights, this one turned out a lot better! I figured out how to change the colors and managed to make it more realistic. I was going for a nighttime type of setting with the moonlight coming through the window.

Nail Art 2
So this design was entirely made up by me! I first started with a white coat on my nails, then marbled a grayish color on top of it and this is the end resut! I was really proud to call this my own design since I came up with it by just experimenting. All the tutorials I saw online kept on using so much nail polish in every nail. I wanted to minimize this, but keep same cool marble lookm so this was what I came up with! I kind of failed when it came to cleaning up my fingers since I didn't have any Q-tips. Next time I'll be sure to make it more neat.

Nail Art first attempt!
My first attempt at water marbling! I first saw this through my youtube recommendations and fell in love with it! So, the week after I went out and bought some new nail polish (all my other nail polish was stolen by a certain sibling..) I kept on messing up, this was the third nail I attempted on and I feel it came out pretty good. I hope to get better in the future

Winter - Speedpaint
While trying to relax from all the studying I've been doing lately, I decided to do a quick sketch. The sketch itself didn't take me long at all to do, which really surprised me (roughly 30 minutes including the outlining of it). After that I decided I wanted a mountain-like background and train tracks for it. That took me another roughly 30 minutes! Then I decided to record a speedpaint of coloring the sketch.

The speedpaint only took an hour, so in total I spent 2 hours on the entire piece! Which to me, is a big improvement compared to my 4 hour speedpaint last time! I personally really liked how it turned out, since it came out almost exactly how I wanted it to! Here's the final results from it all:

Lighting Practice
We have moved on from modeling and animating stuff to Lighting in my class! I have always admired people who are in charge of lighting in films, simply because I feel they are the true magic to making stuff look good. I was really excited to get started on how to light stuff in 3ds MAX. Anyways, we first learned the different lighting tools; sky light, omni light, and all that fancy stuff.
Our homework assignment was to light up this hallway model my teacher made. So here you go:

I personally feel I didn't do a great job lighting it, but I will try to do a better job during my next assignment.

Static Blue Layout
I thought it was time I made a new layout for my youtube account. I just have one thing to say that took up the majority of my designing time, YOUTUBE SHOULD ALLOW EXTERNAL LINKS FOR BGS! It's ridiculous! You only get 260 bytes of something to upload! How is anyone suppose to put up a good quality BG? -_- Anyways..after tweaking around in photoshop I realized it freaking sucks when it comes to downsizing bytes of an image, then I took it over to Sai. Thankfully Sai had a lot of better options for this...Surprising, since you think the more expensive program would have more buttons.. Anyways I'm going to stop raging and just show the layout.
I had to crop it as well to help make the byte size smaller... I like the one above much better.
