Pastel on tan canson paper.
not really finished yet, however I really like how it's turning out. Pastels are so much fun!
black and white colored pencils on brown canson paper.

Pastel on black canson paper.
Okay this was a lot of fun to do. The assignment was to draw one of the models and we can use any colors we wanted! I really wanted to press on the red being the darker tones and the blue/white for lighter tones. The hardest part for me was trying to get the ear to look like an ear. It was a part where there needed to be a highlight too so I was super nervous while working on that portion O_o. He has no arm and probably never will.

Here's pot.
I do not do pot
I make it.
Week 4?
I like how this turned out. I could have really worked on the tummy/curves a bit more because well it needs to be detailed more.
Gesture drawings!
I like my men BUFFF.
Practicing foreshortening here. Kind of messed up though. anyways he's pretty buff so it makes up for it.
Gesturesss
One of my first actual pastel pieces! (images are out of order on this blog haha)
I had a lot of fun doing this, I like the way pastel blends a lot and I have a lot of fun making new colors!
I did this piece right after I worked on the piece above this. I wanted to go for an exotic type of eye. A lot of people tell me this looks like an animal eye? o.o Anyways the real piece looks smexy and I do not feel this scan does it justice (the brown tones are suppose stick out a lot better)
