Absence

I have taken a month break from all this art stuff, mainly because I want to enjoy my time with my friends and get some new perspective/skills on art!

1. going to do some more serious drawings
2. Finally started a drawing class with real models!
3. I love gesture drawing!!!!!!!!
4. I will be having a lot more on paper sketches to show. 
5. going on a little road trip tomorrow to stock up on some supplies to work on my traditional art!

Sunset Drawing

This was actually pretty fun to do. Originally inspired by me going to the beach earlier today, I saw how pretty the sunset looked and just thought it would look even better if there was a silhouette of a city and then mountains behind it!

The coloring came out a lot different than what I was going for, but I still really like the ending result.

This morning I realized I didn't make any adjustments in photoshop like I normally do. Thus, I messed around with some colors and levels and came up with this. I personally feel this is a lot better than the first one.

Random DNA Edit

I got really bored at like 2 AM last night and decided to do a super quick edit of something. I didn't want to use any of my anime sources so I decided to grab the entire DNA mangas 10-Newest chapter. However, it was a really big fail when I realized everything in project media was too small to even see what was going on in the page (and I am too lazy to open up every single one in the trimmer preview box) So, I decided to guess and pick random pages and make a story out of whatever I find. 15 minutes later I came up with a 30 second edit. It's just something random and for fun, probably won't finish it and it definitely isn't anything I would release. (who knows though, I actually woke up this morning kind of excited to work on it a bit more, so if I ever do decide on releasing it.. it would require me to erase all the text from every page to not distract people from the story) The story has nothing to do with the manga plot~
